What we collect
We only collect personal information when you send us a message using the contact form on this website:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- the content of your message
Please do not put sensitive details, such as bank or national insurance numbers, in the form. We can ask for what we need once we are in touch.
If you email us directly instead, we will receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us in the email.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, so there is no cookie banner. Fonts are served from this website, not from a third party.
Why we use your information, and our lawful basis
- To read your message and reply to you. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering into an arrangement with you, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services.
- To send you an automatic acknowledgement that your message has arrived. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in confirming receipt.
- To protect the form from abuse. The website may briefly keep a record linked to your IP address (for up to one hour) so that the number of messages sent from one connection can be limited. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and usable.
We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
Your message is sent to us by email using Cloudflare, which also hosts this website. Cloudflare handles it on our behalf to deliver the message and keep the website running, and may process technical information such as your IP address for that purpose. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your message and our reply only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. If we go on to work with you, we will give you a separate notice explaining how we handle the information for that work.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information, in some circumstances
- ask us to restrict how we use your information, in some circumstances
- object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests
- ask for your information in a format you can move elsewhere, where this applies

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) atico.org.uk.
